For reference, “featured” posts in Ghost are the same as “pinned” posts in Discourse. They stay at the top even if there are newer posts. How to Add a Featured Post
I like the function so that we can post minor blog articles but keep more important things highlighted, though it’s not something we’re really needing right now.
At the moment, I made Announcing the Snowdrift.coop forum a “featured” post, but we can remove that at the point when we feel no need to emphasize the forum anymore. And we could “feature” another newer post if something else is worthwhile too.
